On the Workshop of International Relations Studies and Education in Turkey (16-17 April 2005)

Abstract

The workshop, which was attended by faculty members, research assistants and students from various universities in Turkey, was the third meeting since the first one held in 1961, but it can be considered the first in terms of its features. What makes the meeting unique is that it brings together various "international relations" in Turkey for the first time and prepares a ground for university members at different stages of academic life to share their thoughts. Being a first in this respect, the meeting has enabled the emergence of different perceptions, opinions and expectations by making discussions that can create an agenda for the future.
