Abstract
The subject of this article, As One Era Ends: A Diplomat's Logbook, written by retired Ambassador Bilge Cankorel, is not a typical work. The book, as the name suggests, consists of professional memoirs of Ambassador Cankorel, who started his duty as a Professional Officer in 1971 and retired with the title of Ambassador in 2011 within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
