BOOK REVIEW: Disaster Security: Using Intelligence and Military Planning for Energy and Environmental Risks
Abstract
In a world that is becoming more interconnected and complex every day; cross-border epidemics, migration movements, cyber security, hybrid war, climate change, energy and environmental security (EES) issues have inevitably entered the agenda of the International Relations (IR) discipline. In the book "Disaster Security: Using Intelligence and Military Planning for Energy and Environmental Risks", Briggs and Matejova critically address these issues, specifically EES and disaster risks, from an interdisciplinary perspective ranging from Geography and Political Science to Security Studies and Biology.
